John Edmund Sherron (2^nd of Jim Sherron Sr. and Isabel Warrior Sherron) showing off his red hair. John is the only Sherron from Kenneth Carl Sherron with red hair.

This picture was taken at the “track” located approximately four-miles West of Ponca City on new highway 60. The track is the area Kenneth Carl Sherron wanted for his “retirement” property. The house in the background is the home Kenneth built and raised his five children in. For his retirement he wanted the home moved from its original location at 500 South Washington to the “track.”

Unfortunately, he was only able to enjoy it a few months after retirement. Kenneth Carl Sherron died six months after his retirement after working 34 years for the Ponca City Fire Department and missing only one day due to poor health.
